Okay, so I had this idea for my wedding, right? A rainbow theme. Sounds kinda out there, I know, but hear me out. I wanted each of my bridesmaids in a different color of the rainbow. Sounds simple enough, but let me tell you, it was a journey.
First off, I started by hitting up all the usual spots online. You know, just browsing around, seeing what’s out there. There were plenty of single-color dresses, but finding a place that had the same style in seven different colors? Not so easy. I found some places that had maybe three or four colors in the same style, but a whole rainbow? Nope.
I spent hours, days even, looking. I checked out online stores and even some that had physical locations. I even called their customer service lines just to be sure they had what I wanted. It was rough.
- I remember one online store that had a live chat thing. I asked the person on the other end if they had what I was looking for, and they were super nice and helpful. But in the end, they didn’t have the full range I needed either.
- Then there was this other place, which had gorgeous dresses, but they were all the same color. I was starting to lose hope.
I decided to change my tactics. Instead of looking for one style in seven colors, I started looking for different styles that would look good together, but in the colors I needed. That opened up a few more options, but it still wasn’t perfect.
And then, when I was about to throw in the towel and just pick one color, I stumbled upon this one website and it was like the clouds parted and the angels sang. They had these beautiful mermaid dresses, and guess what? They had them in every color I needed! Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. The whole shebang! I even asked the online service team to make sure I was not dreaming.
I ordered them right away. And when they arrived, oh boy, they were even more stunning in person. Each one was just perfect, and they looked amazing together. My bridesmaids tried them on, and they all loved them. They fit like a dream, and everyone felt beautiful and confident.
The wedding day came, and let me tell you, seeing my girls all lined up in their rainbow dresses was one of the most magical moments. It was exactly how I’d imagined it. It wasn’t easy, but in the end, it was all worth it. We made it! And now, I can’t help but smile every time I look back at the pictures. I did it! I am the girl who created a rainbow bridesmaid dresses!
