Well, let me tell ya ’bout them Precious Moments Bride and Groom thingamajigs. Folks seem to really like ’em, ya know? For weddin’s and such. They’re little statues, like, made outta somethin’ called porcelain. Fancy, I guess.
I seen some pictures, and they got these little wide-eyed kids all dressed up like they’s gettin’ hitched. The bride’s wearin’ a white dress, and the groom’s got a suit on. Sometimes they’re standin’ at an altar, like in a church, and sometimes they’re just holdin’ hands or lookin’ at each other all lovey-dovey.
Now, some of these here Precious Moments got sparkly stuff on ’em. They call ’em “diamond-like crystals.” I ain’t sure if they’re real diamonds, but they sure do shine pretty. Makes the little statues look even fancier, I reckon.
Folks buy these things for weddin’ gifts, ya see. Or for a bridal shower, whatever that is. Seems like a good present, I s’pose, if you like that kinda thing. They got all sorts, too. Some are big, some are small. Some are just the bride and groom, and some got other folks with ’em, like bridesmaids and such.
- Big ones and small ones: I seen some that are just a couple inches tall, and some that are bigger, maybe, I dunno, six inches or so? They got all different sizes, dependin’ on what you want, I guess.
- Plain or fancy: Some of them Precious Moments are just plain white, and some got paint and sparkles and all sorts of stuff on ’em. The fancy ones cost more, I betcha.
- Different poses: Like I said, some are standin’ at the altar, some are holdin’ hands, some are dancin’. They got all sorts of different ways them little statues are posed. It’s kinda cute, I gotta say.
If you wanna get yer hands on one of these here Precious Moments, you can find ’em in all sorts of places. I heard tell they got ’em in antique shops, but I ain’t never been in one of them fancy places myself. You can probably find ’em online too, on them computer things. But watch out, they might charge you extra for shippin’ and handlin’ and all that nonsense.
Now, I ain’t no expert on these things, mind you. But I seen enough of ’em to know that folks seem to like ’em. They’re sweet, I guess, in a kinda childish way. And they make people happy, so that’s a good thing, right? If you got a weddin’ comin’ up, or you know someone who’s gettin’ hitched, a Precious Moments bride and groom might just be the ticket.
But let me tell ya, don’t go spendin’ all yer money on these things. They’re just little statues, after all. It’s the thought that counts, ya know? A nice card and a heartfelt “congratulations” is just as good, if you ask me. But then again, nobody ever asks me nothin’!
Anyways, that’s all I know ’bout them Precious Moments Bride and Groom. They’re little statues, they’re cute, and folks like ’em. What more is there to say? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my biscuits.
